Marble and Ceramic Slab Handling

Handling marble slabs and A-frames within a production facility involves managing heavy loads, large dimensions, routes, flow continuity and control requirements. Operational needs vary depending on the support, travel distance and level of production process automation. In marble processing in particular, a dedicated vehicle becomes relevant when a complete support loaded with multiple slabs has to be transferred repeatedly between different areas of the facility.

Industrial marble and ceramic slab handling may require the repeated transfer of complete supports and heavy loads between production stages, warehouses, buffer areas or outdoor areas. In these applications, cranes, forklifts and fixed systems may not always be the most suitable solution for every transfer route.

Dedicated handling equipment can be particularly useful when the process involves multiple load pick-ups, transfers between different vehicles, specific routes, improved visibility during maneuvering or repetitive handling operations that need to be integrated into the production flow.
